About Us
Big Sister Organization was founded with a clear mission: to help girls overcome their barriers to their dignity so that they can reach their full potential. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw many girls staying out of school because basic needs like towels had become luxury to many families and not able to support these girls to stay in school.Overtime our vision has expanded to include a variety of services aimed at helping young girls transition to womenhood without looking self esteem and dignity. Here's a closer look at who we are:

Big Sister Organization began in 2021, driven by the urgent need to address the struggles many young girls faced in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. We witnessed how something as basic as access to sanitary towels became a luxury for many families, forcing countless girls to stay out of school.
Starting with the provision of dignity kits to help girls stay in school, our mission has grown into a powerful movement. Today, we run mentorship programs, provide vocational training, and offer resources that equip girls with the tools to build their futures.
